So You Ended Up Here: My Condolences.

Hello there. If you’re reading this, you’ve either clicked the “About” button on purpose or you’ve fallen down a very strange internet rabbit hole. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Scott Densmore, and this blog is my small corner of the internet where I talk about my life, experiences and musings on “things”.

You’re in the right place if you’ve ever:

  • Sat in a meeting that could have been an email and felt a small part of you wither away.
  • Read a productivity book and wondered if the author has ever actually met a human being.
  • Believed that “synergizing our core competencies” is just a fancy way of saying “let’s try to work together without messing it up.”

My Origin Story (Minus the Radioactive Spider)

My days are a blur of code, spreadsheets, and slides so dense they could be used as building materials. It is, as you can imagine, a non-stop thrill ride of creativity and fulfillment. My nights are filled with code and time with the family.

Mostly, I learned that much of the internet is written by people who seem to have an unlimited supply of kale smoothies and 27 hours in their day. That is not me.

So, I decided to start this blog. Not to offer you life-changing hacks that will triple your income by Tuesday, but to share honest, practical, and occasionally cynical insights, a little insight into me, and the occasional hot take.

A Brief Interrogation

To save you the trouble of internet stalking, here are the answers to your burning questions:

  • What’s your superpower? The ability to look intensely focused during a Zoom call while mentally debating what to have for dinner.

  • Any hidden talents? I can assemble IKEA furniture using only the pictures and a single, desperate sigh. Also, I’m fluent in sarcasm and movie quotes.

  • What are you terrible at? Pretending to be a morning person.

  • Coffee or tea? Coffee. Black. Like the void where my motivation used to be before the first cup.

Look, the point of this page is to tell you that there’s a real, slightly weird human behind this blog. If any of this resonates with you, then you’ll probably enjoy what I write.
